Al vele jaren neemt de Belgische Ballonclub deel aan de grootste bijeenkomst van heteluchtballonnen in Europa. Deze bijeenkomst vindt om de twee jaar plaats in Lotharingen en brengt gedurende 10 dagen bijna duizend piloten samen. <\/p>

De wereld luchtballonnen<\/h2>

In 2019 is de Lorraine Mondial Air Ballon de Grand-Est Mondial Air Ballons<\/a> geworden. Deze vindt plaats van vrijdag 26 juli tot zondag 4 augustus. Voor deze nieuwe editie maken we gebruik van de aantrekkingskracht van onze prestigeballonnen, de replica en Tolfy. We komen aan in Frankrijk met zeven ballonnen! Meer dan enige andere meeting is onze reis naar Lotharingen een BBC ‘club’ activiteit geworden. <\/p>

De organisatie<\/h2>

Alle deelnemende leden verblijven bij lokale mensen. Rond lunchtijd komen we allemaal samen in de Auberge du Vieux Moulin voor een gezellige maaltijd. Na de avondvlucht opent het dorp Xonville zijn deuren voor ons voor een buffet bereid door de vrouwen. Je vraagt je waarschijnlijk af waar de mannen in dit alles zijn? De piloten werken hun logboeken af en nemen een welverdiend aperitiefje, voordat ze na de maaltijd de afwas doen! Gezelligheid is geen leeg woord, want elke deelnemer brengt ook een specialiteit uit zijn of haar regio mee. <\/p>

Tijdens het verblijf zorgt het organisatieteam ervoor dat iedereen vliegt, ook onze verhuurders. Om ze nog beter te leren kennen, nodigen we ze uit voor een van onze avondmaaltijden. Ook al is het een huzarenstukje van tien dagen, alle tijd die we uitsparen (maaltijdbereiding, afwas, kortere wachtrij voor het gas, enz.) geeft ons de kans om ‘s middags een si\u00ebsta te houden of deel te nemen aan de petanquewedstrijd van Hadonville… <\/p>

De nostalgische minuut<\/h2>

In feite wordt onze organisatie elk jaar beter, want de dagen dat we in tenten verbleven, onze maaltijden (vacu\u00fcmverpakt) tussen de middag bij Jean en Sylviane opwarmden en onder de sterrenhemel op de basis bivakkeerden, ongeacht het weer, liggen al lang achter ons! Degenen die deelnamen aan de eerste edities herinneren zich ook de urenlange wachttijden voor gas en de rijen om de basis te verlaten tussen de vele bezoekers die naar huis terugkeerden. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
