The take-off field must have an area of about a quarter of a football field without obstacles – or power lines – and ideally protected from the wind. Lawns and meadows (without cut hay or cow dung) are ideal.
The popular settings are parks and castles, town squares, private properties. Certain authorisations are required, such as that of the owner of the land, or the authorities if the land is located in an urban area.

Finally, in order not to disturb the sleep of local residents, we avoid taking off near homes on morning flights.
